Tamara & Hrvoje

A little over a year ago I received an email from Tamara, who would become my first Destination Wedding. She and her fiancé Hrvoje had fallen in love with Seville on a previous trip and wanted a destination wedding in Seville. It would be a small wedding, but they didn’t want to miss out on all the details of a wedding.

Lately I am becoming an expert in small weddings without losing the charm of a wedding, I already had the honor of organizing another beautiful intimate wedding last year. And although it may not seem like it, you have to make the same arrangements as for one with more guests with the handicap of finding spaces for so few guests.

They wanted a civil ceremony in a special place, as a good destination wedding, which was very Sevillian and the option I liked the most was a terrace with views, which would surprise their guests. After thinking about several spaces, the one that best suited their taste was the beautiful terrace of the Puerta Catedral apartments, right in front of the great rose window of the Cathedral of Seville.

So in this idyllic space Diana, from Diario de una Novia, officiated a beautiful bilingual wedding. The bride and groom were very excited to say “I do” in Spanish. And Diana Lacroix interspersed precious texts specially sought for them.

After the civil ceremony, and on the same terrace while the sun was setting, the guests had sangria and cava with strawberries and delicious macarons made by Aquarela Cakes. And all accompanied by the sound of a Spanish guitar thanks to Nubia.

For the celebration of the banquet they wanted a place with a lot of charm and also accompanied, they did not want a space exclusively for them. So they decided on the beautiful patio that Manolo León restaurant has in the center. Dessert was a cake that Aquarela Cakes designed for them that was delicious.

All the beautiful photos were taken by Mariam from Sweet Studio.

The floral decoration, including the bride’s romantic bouquet of peonies and astromelias, was by La Buganvilla.

In short, I am delighted to have had the opportunity to help them in their Destination Wedding (fun, affectionate, charming…) in Seville, in a privileged place, just as they wanted. It has been a pleasure! 🙂

Pd: I’m going to miss Tamara’s emails.
