I still get goosebumps when I remember Priyanka and Thomas’ wedding. She is Indian. He is French. Both live in Australia… and Seville is that magical place where they decided to have their religious destination wedding in Seville.
If you have ever wondered whether it is possible to organise a religious destination wedding, full of symbolism, with guests from different cultures and with a natural elegance that envelops every corner… let me tell you that yes, it is entirely possible. And this wedding that we organised at La Organizadora de Sueños is the perfect proof.
A religious destination wedding in Seville: from Australia to southern Spain

A religious ceremony in English at the Tabernacle of Seville Cathedral
The day began very relaxed as Priyanka and Thomas got ready with family and friends in a beautiful house in the centre of the Santa Cruz neighbourhood in Seville.
The ceremony was held in English, in the impressive Tabernacle of Seville Cathedral, a monumental space where light embraces everything.
Seeing their families—French, Indian, and Australian—united in one place, listening to their vows in a temple steeped in history, was one of those moments we will never forget. A true display of love without borders.
An exciting walk to Plaza de España
After the religious destination wedding, the guests walked amid laughter and hugs towards the iconic Plaza de España, while the bride and groom took advantage of the opportunity to have a dream photo shoot.
The combination of their outfits, Seville’s architecture and such a cultural mix created an almost cinematic atmosphere. Every photo looked like a scene from a film… and a good one at that.
A celebration in a palace-like house with Andalusian essence
The reception took place in a Sevillian palace steeped in history. In the décor, we sought to strike the perfect balance between Andalusian elegance and details that honoured the roots of both.
Flowers, warm lighting, natural textures… Everything was designed to make your guests feel like they were enjoying a unique experience created especially for them.
The dinner was buffet style, with a menu that fused Indian and Spanish flavours. The aromas, colours and combinations surprised everyone. Above all, the atmosphere allowed guests to chat, move around and enjoy themselves without any formalities.
The costume change: a beautiful tribute to the bride’s Indian roots
One of the moments that most excited everyone came after dinner: the change to a traditional Indian look.
Priyanka looked radiant in her outfit, full of exquisite details and embroidery. Thomas, elegant and perfectly coordinated, accompanied her in this tribute to her culture. It was a beautiful gesture that the guests received with applause and smiles.
A multicultural party that no one wanted to end
And then… the party! What a beautiful and lively celebration.
International rhythms, Indian music, French classics and Spanish hits were played: a mix that got even the shyest people dancing. The open bar was an explosion of joy where cultures embraced each other in the most natural way possible.
If you dream of a religious destination wedding in Seville… yes, it is possible.
If you are imagining your own wedding and wondering if you can create something that represents your history, your roots and your personality, I want you to know: yes, it is possible.
At La Organizadora de Sueños, we love being wedding planners for destination weddings, or to put it more poetically, weddings that cross borders, cultures and desires. If you would like us to help you shape yours, it will be an honour to accompany you. ✨
